QR Code Suggestions

  • Retailers  - Have a QR code that offers a coupon for something in your store. Maybe 10% off their purchase if they show the coupon to the person who checks them out when they're done shopping.
  • Brick and mortar business - if you're trying to draw customers, why not provide a QR coded map that they can snap a picture of with their cell phone to find you quickly?
  • Restaurants and bars - have QR codes on every table and at the bar. The customer scans the code and gets a free drink or free cup of coffee with their meal. Change the code every day and offer something different to keep the customers coming back. It's likely they will tell their friends about it so they can get the offer as well.
Menus - code could lead to a web site that lists the nutritional value of a specific meal or even to a recipe for that famous dish.
  • General business - Have a QR code posted on your door and near the cash register with your store's name and phone number, a link to your website and hours you are open for business. Customers can scan the code into their phones to remember you and load you into their contact list.
  • Real Estate agents - have a QR code on your "For Sale" sign that takes the customer to the listing information and/or a website with pertinent information on the house for sale along with your name and contact information.
  • Car dealership - place a code on a vehicle that leads to the dealer’s webpage for that particular vehicle. Great for the "Sunday Shoppers".

  • Gas station - place a code on the pump that provides a coupon for a free cup of coffee inside the station.
  • Dress shop or antique store -  post a code that would automatically “like” their Facebook fanpage.
  • Movie theatres and college campuses - post show times and schedules with a QR code. Large theme parks could include location guides as well as show times for various events.
  •  Free promo merchandise - such as t-shirts, pens, calendars, etc. Hopefully the person receiving it will interact with others to promote your company.
  • Sports Fan - If you're a sports fan, hobby nut or belong to a special club, why not hand out cards with hardlinks to your Facebook page, blog and/or personal website.
  • Business events and trade shows can provide QR codes for seminar schedules.
  • Organizations and companies - create simple QR coded hardlinks to online schedules and guide information and at the same time eliminate costly and redundant distribution and printing.
  • Events - QR codes that are on events could hardlink your contacts to your Facebook or Twitter page, personal blog, website or email address.
